We design, manufacture, and supply high-quality stretchtents for professional use across Europe.
BT Stretchtents is a European manufacturer and supplier of high-quality stretchtents, delivering directly to customers across Europe. Customers can purchase stretchtents directly from us or request a quotation for custom projects.
BT Stretchtents is part of Buitink Technology, a Dutch company that has been producing innovative products made from technical textiles, sailcloth and foil since 1948.
Over 75 years of innovation and expertise
For more than 75 years, we have been designing and manufacturing products made from sailcloth, foil and advanced technical textiles, ranging from large permanent canopies for train stations to ETFE roof structures for botanical gardens. Over the past 15 years, we have also specialised in the development and manufacturing of stretchtents, which have been successfully sold and rented under various brand names across Europe. Building on this experience and expertise, we launched our own brand, BT Stretchtents, with the ambition to expand into new markets.
As a stretchtent manufacturer, we produce our products in our own facilities in the Netherlands and Romania, producing both standard models and custom designs. Coordination and distribution are managed from the Netherlands, allowing for short communication lines and reliable, efficient delivery.
What sets us apart is our straightforward, flexible approach. We do not impose contractual obligations or restrict how our products or branding are used. Instead, we focus on what we do best: manufacturing high-quality stretchtents, while giving our partners full freedom to market them under their own brand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes BT Stretchtents different from other stretchtent manufacturers?
We combine textile expertise, in-house engineering, and European production under one roof. Unlike many resellers, we design and manufacture the full system ourselves—including metal parts and accessories. This ensures consistent quality, perfect compatibility, and quick access to spare parts or replacements.
Are BT Stretchtents waterproof and wind-resistant?
Yes. Our stretchtents are fully waterproof, UV-resistant, and tested for professional outdoor use. The multi-layer stretch fabric remains flexible while maintaining strength in heavy rain and wind. Seams are both stitched and sealed to support long-term durability.
Do the stretchtents meet European safety standards?
Absolutely. Our fabrics are flame-retardant according to European M2 and B1 standards and meet EN 13782 structural calculations for temporary outdoor structures. Each batch is tested for strength, elasticity, and coating quality to ensure consistent performance.
Can I order a custom-made stretchtent?
Yes. We offer tailor-made solutions alongside standard sizes. Options include unique shapes, colour combinations, and integrations such as keder systems, wall connections, and cut-outs for trees or architectural elements. Our engineering team supports you through design, production, and setup requirements.
Do you offer installation services?
Yes. BT Stretchtents has an experienced installation team that can support setup and dismantling across Europe. Depending on your project location, we can handle installation directly or provide clear guidance for your team.
